Manantial Neighbourhood Services Inc. service new immigrants, strengthen families, give language interpretation and translation of documents. They do resume writing, help obtain information about government resources and referral services for their patrons.
Manantial, implemented educational programs such as AIDS Prevention, and a youth program “Diving Deep” and a parenting support “What about your kids?” Also program “A Better Way, A Better Life” which coaches immigrant youth to overcome barriers. “Patching the World One Quilt at a Time” is a senior’s program and they had “A Women’s Day” program in March which heightened attention to women’s struggles worldwide.
The Immigrant Women Health Centre’s Mobile Clinic and the Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB) service provide tests. They also have counselling for women, youth and families.
